Boeing Aviation Field in Forest Park

Boeing Aviation Fields

Boeing Aviation Fields contain four baseball diamonds and four softball diamonds. During 1920 - 1921, this area served as a landing field for airmail service between St. Louis and Chicago. (The pilots averaged about 77 miles an hour, reaching Chicago in about three and a half hours.)
